Bengaluru: Kinnow Tech has launched Kinnow, an AI-native enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform built in India, with 280+ AI agents working across sales, purchasing, accounts, inventory, compliance and HR.
The platform carries no licence fee for its core ERP, with businesses paying only for the work performed by its AI agents rather than the number of people who log in.
Built in Bengaluru, Kinnow has India’s compliance requirements integrated into the platform from the outset, including GST returns, e-invoicing, e-way bills, TDS and statutory payroll.
The company describes Kinnow as an Enterprise Reasoning Platform, designed to function as an organisational brain that operates 24×7, 365 days a year.
Its 280+ AI agents read business records and documents as they are created and identify issues that require attention before they become problems.
The agents can identify situations such as slowing customer payments, declining inventory levels and approaching filing deadlines, and propose the next steps. However, decisions involving financial or legal consequences remain with people.
For instance, payroll is never disbursed automatically, while a tax return cannot be marked as filed until the relevant period’s purchase reconciliation has been completed.
Routine activities such as payment reminders can be assigned to agents within limits defined by the business, with every action recorded in an audit trail.
Ashish Chawla, Co-founder, Sales & Go-to-Market, Kinnow, said, “Every business owner I have worked with has faced the same bad choice: a ledger that tells you what already happened, or an ERP that takes a year and a large budget before it tells you anything at all. We built Kinnow to end that choice.
A business of any size can now have a system that keeps pace with it. You pay for the work the agents do, not for the software, and your own people still make every call that matters.”
Tejas Vyas, Co-founder, Technology & Product, said, “For thirty years, ERP has been a system for recording resources.
I have spent most of my career building systems that had to hold up at scale, and the lesson I keep coming back to is that intelligence cannot be bolted onto software as an afterthought.
So we did not put AI on top of an ERP. We redefined what an ERP is: a platform that reasons from its very first record. We built it here in India, and we built it for the world.”
Kinnow AI Credit-Based Pricing
Kinnow has adopted a pricing model based on transparency, with businesses purchasing AI credit bundles rather than paying a licence fee for the core ERP.
The platform provides a dashboard showing each job completed during the day and the number of credits consumed by that work. This allows businesses to track how their AI agents are being used.
The Kinnow platform also includes Kinnow Vault for managing business documents and Kinnow Zest, which connects internal messages, emails, meetings and field visits directly to the relevant order, bill or contract.
Kinnow Standards converts a company’s way of working into configurable workflows, with assigned owners, required approvals and defined time limits.
Built for India’s Compliance Requirements
The India launch of Kinnow includes support for GST returns, e-invoicing, e-way bills, TDS, data-protection controls and statutory payroll.
The company has also developed migration tools for Tally and Zoho Books, allowing businesses to move across one area at a time.
Kinnow has stated that companies will not be switched over until their trial balance in the new system matches the trial balance in their existing system.
Bringing AI Into the ERP Architecture
The launch of Kinnow comes as AI adoption in enterprise software accelerates worldwide. In a May 2026 analysis, McKinsey & Company examined how AI is disrupting ERP and highlighted the challenges involved in achieving deeper process and data transformation through technology programmes.
Kinnow’s approach is to integrate AI directly into the ERP architecture rather than add AI as a layer over an existing system.
With 280+ AI agents operating across sales, purchasing, accounts, inventory, compliance and HR, Kinnow is designed to move beyond recording business activity and provide automated monitoring and proposed actions while keeping consequential decisions with people.
The Bengaluru-built Kinnow platform is positioned as an AI-native ERP for businesses, combining India-specific compliance capabilities, configurable workflows, business document management and AI-agent-driven operations under a model where businesses pay for the work performed by the agents rather than for the number of ERP users.
